Ryland Mauck-Duff is a nurse turned entrepreneur. He has a long history as an entrepreneur starting his first business, an east coast based ski magazine, at age 13. Since then he’s been an entrepreneur at heart. He went on to study nursing at Idaho State University and then started his career as an emergency department nurse. With a dream to merge nursing and entrepreneurship he left bedside nursing at 28 to start an IV therapy clinic. He founded Sun Valley Hydration in 2018 and rebranded the business to EXTEN IV Therapy to further scale outside of the Sun Valley, ID market. With a lifelong passion for adventure Ryland has spent countless days in the backcountry, exploring the vast mountain ranges across North America and has been trained in wilderness medicine since 16. Ryland currently is WLS:MP certified and teaches wilderness medicine course through AdventureMed. Ryland has merged is entrepreneurial and outdoor passion to form 83353 Ventures, an independent business firm specializing in education and consulting services in the medical and outdoor industries.
